Typos are off-putting for the reader. Even novels with great plotting, pacing and characterization fall down if they are peppered with spelling mistakes and inconsistencies which distract and confuse the reader.

 I’m here to help. I can give your novel that final polish so your readers will focus on what matters: your story.

 My copy-editing service is meticulous. I will:

  • correct any spelling, punctuation and grammatical errors

  • ensure that the style is consistent (capitalisation, hyphenation, abbreviations, treatment of numbers etc.)

  • check page and chapter numbers and sequencing

  • remove confusing word or page breaks

  • check that characters’ names and physical characteristics remain the same

  • create a style sheet recording all your style preferences

  • always respect your voice and style
